An Update from our Feed Scheduling & Distribution Manger, Rachel Moncrief:
On February 18th we became fully dependent on our new mill here in Crawfordville. We have overcome many obstacles while trying to get this beast up and running. The mill is finally running smooth (enough) to produce enough feed to meet all of our feed needs (and then some). There are still a few bugs that need to be worked out, but we have taken TREMENDOUS strides compared to where we were when we started. About 99% of all equipment is fully operational (we are in the process of commissioning the fat coaters, these are the only pieces of equipment that are not in full use yet). We have received three grain trains since November 2020. All paving and landscaping is done, making this place look great!
